London, England, 17 August 2005 – London Executive Aviation, the UK’s largest executive aircraft charter operator, is to base a third Citation jet at Farnborough Airport in response to increasing customer demand. The newly acquired Citation Bravo takes the total LEA fleet to 16 aircraft, including 10 Citation jets.

Managing director George Galanopoulos comments, “An increasing number of our customers have been flying from Farnborough because of its convenient location and excellent facilities. It’s proving especially popular for leisure travel, with many customers heading to summer and ski destinations. Basing another aircraft there means we can better meet short notice demand and sharpen our pricing edge.”

The new Citation Bravo was acquired by a long-standing LEA customer who decided to move from block hours travel to outright aircraft ownership. “Our customer had owned aircraft prior to flying with LEA, but recently favoured block hours as a hassle-free solution to his travel needs. However, he has now decided that our management service makes sense for him, as we can take care of the operating worries and also provide a good level of income by regularly chartering his aircraft when he doesn’t need it,” says Galanopoulos.

The latest Bravo follows the acquisition of a fourth Citation Excel in May and further extends LEA’s lead as the UK’s top Citation charter operator. “Citations are ideal for the European market, combining outstanding comfort and efficiency with ample levels of performance. We’re certain that our charter customers will appreciate the quality of this latest aircraft.”
