London, England, 17 January 2006 - London Executive Aviation (‘LEA’), the UK’s largest private jet charter operator, is expanding its fleet to 16 aircraft with the addition of its first large cabin jet, an Embraer Legacy. The aircraft, which is configured for up to 12 passengers and has a maximum range of 3,200 miles, will enable LEA to fly non-stop from the UK to the remotest European destinations and to the Middle East. The Legacy, which enters service with LEA this week, is amongst the first in the UK charter market.

The Legacy will have 100 percent availability for third party chartering. The aircraft’s exceptional value will ensure it is one of the most competitively priced large cabin charter jets. The Legacy is based at Luton Airport and is certified to fly from London City Airport.

LEA is managing and chartering the Legacy on behalf of its owner, who decided to purchase the aircraft after flying with LEA for several years as a charter customer. LEA identified and sourced the aircraft for him directly from Embraer, which had operated it as a lightly used demonstration model. The owner has indicated his interest in making additional jet purchases and confirmed that LEA would also manage any future aircraft.

The Legacy will complement LEA’s fleet of ten mid-size Citation Excel and Citation Bravo jets, which accommodate up to nine and seven passengers respectively.
